Citroen DS5 - Production ready at Frankfurt
The Citroen DS5 debuted at Shanghai earlier this year – after a suitable tease, of course – but is arriving at Frankfurt as a production-ready car. Not that we can work out what Citroen has changed on the DS5 to make it production-ready. It still looks concept-y good to our eyes, and has a more than fighting chance of making inroads against more conservatively styled competition.
Nissan's design chief Shiro Nakamura stopped by One AutoWeek Tower on Friday afternoon during his visit to Detroit to share some insight on current and future styling trends for his company. Nakamura, who is best known to enthusiasts for his work on the GT-R, says the current state of design is relatively strong, and the business may be on the verge of another golden age. A new Duster is ready to take to the roads, but you won't find it at a Plymouth dealership--and not because there aren't any Plymouth dealerships left. This new Duster comes from Romanian carmaker Dacia, which is owned by Renault, and the Duster is a small SUV. It uses the low-cost Logan platform that has spawned several car and small-van models.
